I have had so much fun with this bike! It arrived on time first of all and the assemble was very simple. This is a well thought out smooth ridding bike! Love it! i had the family over for dinner this Sunday and we had so much fun, with the ease and comfort of this bike, we were fighting over who would get to ride it next! I believe you will have a few more orders coming after this purchase I made and it is well worth it! I made a wooden basket to go on the back of it to hold grocery and extra stuff when i take it to work! Wonderful bike! Love the ride, love the color, love the customer service!
Have been recommending this bike to everyone.. we’ve had these bikes for 2 years and they are going strong. There a paved mountain in our town with a beautiful view and everyone around us has to push their bikes up the hill and we have no issue zipping up to the top . Love this bike !

I've referred to this bike to many that have listened as the best value in it's category. The shipping came in the timeframe that was promised, the packaging was great and no missing pieces. The bike has reached the advertised distances and speeds. It's been comfortable and a joy to ride. Again, the best value in its class.
We purchased 2 of the L20 2.0 bikes a few weeks ago and love them. We now have just over 100 miles on them without any problems. My wife is 5' 4" and it was a bit hard for her to sit on the seat while stopped but Engwe customer service sent her new seat post options that fixed the problem. We are now looking to buy a front rack for both and a spare battery so we can make some long distance rides.
The bike surprised me with the amount of power, and the suspension. The bike was great, I took it down some gravel roads around 12mph and hit some 6-in deep potholes. Went over them like they weren't even there with a 230 lb rider. Reached out to customer service after I had made the order and asked if they could switch out the color, they we're very quick to respond. Switch the color out and gave me some extra goodies. I really like that it shipped out of California instead of China which is where I thought it was going to be coming from. Excellent customer service was quick to respond. Would definitely purchase from them again, great company imo.
I never usually leave reviews unless I really love or dislike something. But this e-bike surprised me. When I found myself with just one bar of battery left and still 6.8 miles away from home, I never expected to make it back without needing an Uber. Yet, I made a bet with my gf that if I managed to get home with the remaining battery, I'd write a review for Engwe. Well, here I am. I rode those last 6.8 miles in third gear. The torque on this bike is impressive, boasting 75NM, and the power is outstanding. Even when tackling hills in third gear, I barely noticed a difference. I managed a full 32 miles on a single charge, mostly on throttle and stage 5 assistance in between. For daily use, pedal level 3 with 7 gears is more than enough to zip around. Couldn't be happier with the experience! ^^
Bargain for what you get.
I use this e-bike for last mile delivery work and its superb. Paid for itself in two weeks.
It desperately needs a second battery though, 13 ah is very little juice for how well this nimble bike performs. I weigh 190 pounds and go up steep hills throttle only while weighed down with 15 pounds of food at 15 miles an hour. 13 ah can only sustain this type of ride for a small amount of time.
The seat is uncomfortable and the cranks are a bit flimsy; needing tightened regularly. This was probably an error on my end, i threaded a crank improperly and its been creaky even after getting replacement arms put in by a tech.
Even with these gripes in mind this is a great bike. I am thinking of buying another to support my current one, which just hit 2,000 miles with no signs of stopping.
I ordered my L20 2.0 in mid April. It was on backorder until the end of April and it did ship when it said it would. I was anxiously watching the FedEx tracking in anticipation of it's arrival. Long story short the tracking stopped at a hub in Illinois...I waited a few days and it didn't move. I contacted FedEx and after giving them all the information I could I was told that it could not be located and I needed to contact Engwe. I was so disappointed and concerned because I had read the reviews about their terrible customer service. I can happily say that I received very good customer service. They did make me wait a little longer just to be sure it wasn't located but their communication was good and they eventually did send another bike. I am happy to report that I did receive that shipment and I could not be happier! I was even impressed with how the bike was packaged. They secured it very well to prevent any damage during shipping. Assembly was relitively easy. I love the sea green color! This is my first electric bike, I took it for a ride around our neighborhood which is pretty hilly and the hills were no longer so challenging! My only minor critique would be that I wish the seat could be adjusted just a little lower, I am 5'2" and can barely touch the ground at the lowest setting. Overall I am very happy with my purchase and with Engwe's customer service. I have already recommended these bikes to some friends.
Lightweight. Great torque and pickup. Love a bike with a working built in brake light. Nice and nimble little bike.
Solid, well made and fairly easy to put together. I say fairly only because there weren’t too many parts to put together and I could figure it out. I would have given 5 stars but the manual and video are horrible. The few things I needed explanations on or clarity the manual was severely lacking and the video showed something else. Other than that I’m a happy customer and when I wear this one out I will be looking at Engwe again.

Three years ago I purchased an ENGWE L20 2.0. I have enjoyed this bike for many reasons. Mostly because it has the power to take on hills. It has enough energy to use all day for exploring trails. And it is a solid bike!! In fact I love mine so much I just purchased another (in green) for my wife. At our age we are slowing down and don't have as much stamina as we used to. So having the pedal assist and full throttle as an option while we bike is a big help. Thank You ENGWE for making a powerful bike for an affordable price.
This is a solid piece of equipment ! I live in a very hilly area and was apprehensive about this ebike not being able to tackle the hills . I’m here to say this L20 2.0 is a very powerful machine and it tackles all the steep hills so far very easily ! This is a beautifully made ebike for the price . I did have to remove the stock seat and post and install a Mironey seat post 27.2 X 300mm to lower the seat height to fit me , this lowered the the seat by 4” and it still rides very well on the dirt roads . This ebike is loads of fun and I have no regrets purchasing the Engwe L20 2.0 .
For the discounted price of $699 this is a good e-bike. Fit and finish is good, has plenty of pickup torque but it lacks range and think of buying 2nd and larger battery. I don't know of anything deserving a 5-star rating.
Purchased my L20 2.0 e-bike 12/28/2025, it arrived with a defective charger, Engwe was notified, resolved, and provided a replacement immediately. Enjoying the e-bike, it is however it has ghost pedaling after 20 mph; replaced rear freewheel with 11-32T and increased chainwheel to 58T, now it ghost pedals after 26 mph. Still, it is a good 20" foldable e-bike, would buy again and I enjoy riding it, along with my 27.5" Dutch Cruser.
Very nice e-bike
I received my Engwe bike in the carton in good shape. After assembly I took it for a short ride. It seems to handle pretty well, the initial charge took me for about 25 miles of ride time. I have ordered the rear view mirrors from Engwe. A wider saddle is probably another investment soon. For a guy in his 60s, it's kinda fun to ride long distances.
I was in a car accident with this bike. Had it been any other bike but this one I would be dead. I will buy from this company until the day I die.

great e-bike for the price plenty of power. very well built. can't get it up to 28mph like advertise, but i think it's because of my size 6' 230lbs but it handles my size with ease! very comfortable
I have 2 the same model, because I bought 1 a few months ago and loved it.
Bought one of these and a Wildeway fw11s 3.0. Engwe is far superior and more fitting for my 5'10" height. Most importantly, engwe stood behind and replaced my controller upon request due to a software glitch..... happy to see a supplier step up and stand behind the product, much appreciated...
Definitely recommend to buy, if you like power, speed and range this is the ebike to get. Makes it up steep hills with ease. Off of the line much faster than other brand names with little effort. My brother was amazed on how much faster it is than his Lectric 2.0, lol
Got the bike together with the help of the mfr video and my husband. Love it! Easy to ride and so fun! Engwe customer service was great to deal with also. Highly recommend this bike (L20 2.0) and the company.
