So powerful that I did a wheelie the first time I was riding it.
Customer service was very helpful with any issues I had.
The maximum range may be achieved under ideal conditions, no stopping and constant speed. After a 20 mile round trip on flat terrain I had barely any charge left. Itâs common, my other scooter has a specified range of 30 miles and I got only 10 miles (on hilly terrain)
I wish it came with solid tires. After two days I had a flat rear tire and replaced it with a solid one. Hard to find the original dimensions of 80/65-6 (255x80). The scooter store couldnât mount the one I got from Amazon because it had the wrong rim size and had to return it. They had one that fit the rim with 10x2.125.
I am not too crazy about the throttle, thumb control is better.
I'm am blown away by this scooter from the looks to the power and range!! You will not find anything with this quality for under a $1,000. All the stats and specs are right on and I am so happy I made the purchase!! Buy it, you will thank me
300lb rider. Y600. This has no issues with accelerating up to about 23mph. The suspension combined with the nice wide tires make for a super smooth ride, no bottoming out. No problems on grass/dirt, I wouldn't trust the tires on gravel though. Very sturdy. good stuff. This is my 4th scooter and by far the best build quality. My wife also has an Engwe bike that we love as well.
Iâm a 65 year old crazy camper and canât wait to ride this through the parks. So far so good!
I am really impressed with Engwe. I already have two Engwe e-bikes, the X26 and the X24, which by the way I love. The Y600 scooter, I bought two of them just because they had impressed me with the quality, style and features. Surely the Y600 is non the less. Its build and quality are by far superb given the price. And the beast of the motor it has, 600w, it can go as advertised upto 28mph. I have not tested the range, but surely will do and post a review.
Way to go Engwe. I donât know how you guys keep the prices low with excellent quality products.
I will say this scooter is definitely worth the money. I've had my scooter now for 1 month and already have about 200 miles on it. The only problems I've seen or noticed are 1) the seat post is a little short for someone 6 feet tall. And 2) when changing the back tire after getting a nail in it, I could not get it to sit 100% right so now my rotor rubs on the brakes a little tiny bit. It's nothing crazy, but it's there and it rubs now. So make sure you take pictures of you spacers in the back before you change your tires
Itâs only 15mph, unless you find the âcheatâ code to make it able to go up to 23mph. But it has good wheels! Kinda tuff to put it back straight up when you break it down but I could jus be weakđ but all together I definitely recommend:)
So far this scooter has been everything I hoped it would be. Incredible power and speed, and a pretty smooth ride considering the diameter of the tires. It feels quite substantial and the suspension is well scaled for the unit. After owning and experiencing the Engwe L20 2.0 I had high expectations and they have pretty much been met. I'd love to try the scooter with the twist throttle that the ebike has vs the finger throttle. I think there would be a bit less fatigue on the right hand. If Engwe is taking ideas, next up in the scooter lineup should be a mammoth 20 inch fat tire scooter beast, or at least a 16 inch. The ride over cracks and gravel would be so much improved. Side note, I did not install the seat and would be riding a bike if I wanted one. And I would prefer a little bit longer standing platform. Overall though this is a 5 star experience.
I bought this a few weeks back as a way to drop my car off at the shop. I'm very impressed with the ride and range and would highly recommend. Note that I have yet to use the seat and just use it as a standard scooter.
