The engwe m20 2.0 has a great design I was hoping for a little more speed maybe at least 35 mph but overall a good e bike and handled off road pretty well seat could be a little longer also
I’ve had my Engwe M20 2.0 for about two months now, and I can confidently say—this bike is an absolute blast. I never expected to enjoy riding as much as I have, but it’s genuinely made me feel like a kid again.
What I Love:
✅ Super Fun to Ride – The thrill of cruising around on this bike is something else. I had no idea I’d enjoy it this much, and now it’s making me want a motorcycle. 😆
✅ Great for Everyday Use – I’ve already put 900+ miles on it in just two months, and it’s been a reliable daily rider.
✅ Decent Range for What It Is – While Engwe definitely overestimates the range, I get about 18 miles per battery under normal riding conditions, which is still pretty solid for an e-bike at this price.
What Could Be Better:
🔸 One-Way Clutch Issue – After a lot of riding, especially after hitting bumps, my one-way clutch is starting to stick. Not a huge deal, but I’m looking into how Engwe’s warranty handles this.
Final Thoughts:
Even with the minor clutch issue, this bike has been an amazing purchase. The sheer fun factor and the freedom it gives me make it worth every penny. If you’re on the fence about getting an e-bike—do it. But be warned… it might make you start looking at motorcycles next. 🔥

ENGWE M20 2.0
This bike performs and handles great. Torque and power performs well with tough hills, trails and roads. All electronics work well and no need to add anything it’s all included.
Amazing bike
I love the ENGWE M20 2.0’s retro style and smooth ride, with its 750W motor and dual batteries giving me 40–50 miles of fun commuting. The full suspension and fat tires handle bumps great, but the 99-lb weight and non-adjustable seat can be a hassle. It’s a solid e-bike for the price, just wish the throttle hit 28 mph like the original!
Had so much fun on L 20 it gave me a hemoroid that would crush a small city and cover it with blood. Bought the M 20 problem solved no more bloody undies for me. I am 68 years old and having fun like a kid. WHEEEEEEEEE!

I received it today and just finished assembling it. This version is incredibly beautiful and upgrades the weak points of the original. Hopefully the speed can be unlocked in the future.
I just got mine too! The 28mph is only achievable from pedal assist level 5, you just have to pedal really slow to activate the motor, it wont hit 28mph on just throttle
